Library is an integral part of our Academic Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning. This COE is designed to assist multidisciplinary curriculum and concept centric demonstrations concerning practices and programs that promote teaching and learning skills among faculty and students; and to research to improve innovation
Many new dimensions have been added to the library. Electronic information resource as an important component of the library in growing year after year. The computer has swept the library in all it is operations-storage and dissemination of information. The college is satisfied on the achievements of the library.

Digital Library: Online access to the e-resource of the Digital Library portals of DELNET. These e-resources are IP enabled, can be accessed anywhere in the campus.

2. Local area network: The Library has LAN facility.
OPAC (Online public access catalogue): All the library transactions are computerized and On-Line Public Access Catalogue has been introduced. Users can search the books details via author wise search, title wise search, subject wise search, and how many copies are available in a particular title.
Computerized issue/return of books: To facilitate faster issue and return of books and for easy tracing of the books issued, the college library books are being issued/returns through the Bees campus soft with bar coded technology.

Reference Desk: Readers may approach the Reference Desk for information or any assistance in the use of the Library Collections and Services
Periodical Section: Contains both Technical and Non-Technical Journals of National and International origin are displayed and kept available for the reference of students and faculty members.
Reference Section: The library consists of about 756 reference books on all Subjects, & Dictionaries. The library also has a collection of rare books.
• Reference/referral services: Library provides books to refer inside the library. One copy of all the titles has kept for reference. Apart from that we have good collection of reference books like Indian Pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopoeia, The wealth of India dictionaries, some standard technical titles.
• Question paper service: Previous years Question papers are available year and Branch wise in print/soft copies and will be provided to users to take photocopies.
• Project report service: One copy of Students projects of all previous years is maintained in library and providing for reference.
• Curriculum Book Service: University Curriculum books of all branches are available for reference.
Reading Halls: The Reading Hall consists of comfortable tables & chairs with a seating capacity for 180 users.

This policy relates to the provision of transport support for the journey from the student's registered point of boarding to the registered college and back to the point of boarding. The main focus is to provide SAFE and TIMELY transport without affecting the quality of a student’s education and the composition of her peer group. College is running 20+ buses covering all points in Visakhapatnam.
Students have exclusive hostels for men and women with spacious, comfortable, well-furnished rooms with all modern amenities, hygienic kitchens, nutritious food, and a 24-hour security system at any/all VIGNAN colleges. Students wishing to stay in these hostels are advised to apply in the prescribed forms. The campus has an ATM facility. Leisure time spaces such as reading and television lounges are also available. The rooms are well furnished with proper ventilation. The institute provides excellent hostel with good infrastructure, wide spacious rooms, enough furniture and also provided recreation facilities for both girls & boys separately in their hostels. When living in hostel the students’ safety and security are majorly taken care of by the hostel warden and security guards. The canteen is located inside inside the college. The day scholars, teaching and non-teaching faculty are provided melas by assuring food safety and quality. The students, who come from faraway places, start their journey to the college early in the morning. Morning break-fast, mid day meal and evening tea with snacks. The objective of the canteen is to maintain the hygiene conditions and provide healthy and tasty food.
The college has enough space for playing the games viz., Outdoor: Cricket, Football, Kabaddi,Volley ball, Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Tennikoit, Ball Badminton and Athletic track, Indoor: Table tennis, Chess, Carrom, Shuttle Badminton and recreation Hall, multistation Gym hall. . A permanent multipurpose sports ground on par with National standards is there in the campus.

College is having a 32 Mbps Airtel internet connection, locally networked and connected through wi-fi also to the central server are available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations. It also access to e-books, study materials etc through the college local area network. The class rooms are provided with wireless access points for the students to make use of internet.
24 hours Central Bank ATM facility is available within the campus for smooth money transactions of students and staff.
The college provides on the premises ample parking for two wheelers and four wheelers. The parking area is at some distance from the academic block. But those who park their vehicles have to abide by certain rules and restrictions. At all time, for instance, speed limit norms need to be followed. Honking horns is strictly prohibited. Students and staff are not allowed inside the campus without helmet. All vehicles must be parked in a lined parking space. All student parking spaces are lined but not marked as reserved. Faculty/staff parking areas are reserved. Parking spaces marked Visitors are reserved for official guests of the college.
Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology is Fully Equipped with CCTV Camera system. So has to maintain and monitor for every day more than 50 number of cameras. A better security performance which will be very helpful to watch the daily activities of the students, staff, worker and publics inside the campus regularly. If any misbehaving activities done by students can be easily identified.
Institute has provided the facility of power backup system in case of failure of electricity. Separate Power backup facility is provided at central instrumental laboratory and each Department for uninterrupted teaching, learning and research and administrative work.
College has well equipped 50 KVA Generator that can support 24 hours uninterrupted power supply.
