Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical technology is one of the constituent colleges of vignan Institutions well known for quality education with GLOBAL STANDARDS AND INDIAN VALUES. VIPT was established in 2006 with a view to provide job oriented professional courses in Pharmacy, VIPT offers B.Pharm., M.Pharm., Pharm.D. programmes. The College is affiliated to the JNTU Kakinada, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The College is ISO9001 & ISO 14001 Certified for its safety and waste disposal methods employed. The infrastructure available makes the college a conducive academic learning that provides students with good quality education in a clean, comfortable environment. Born in a middle class agricultural family, Dr.Rattaiah had observed during his education, How most of his friends had become dropouts in school and colleges due to lack of guidance and direction.. After completing his Post graduation, he has rightly chosen his doctoral thesis on Child Psychology, Teaching methods, Thought Provoking Process in children, Channeling of creative resources. His childhood goal of educating ten people around him has made Lakhs of students getting quality education in his institutions. With the goal in his mind , he has started Vignan Tutorials in 1982 and with the starting of Vignan High school in 1983, an era in the filed of education in Andhra Pradesh started. From then onwards, Junior colleges, Degree colleges, PG college, Engineering & pharmacy colleges and to day Vignan became the Hub of educational activity in AP and has set Benchmarking standards which other institutions can always think in their dreams.
He is person who is spending his valuable time and erience to give shape to the views of the chairman Dr.L.Rattaiah. He completed B.Pharm,M.Pharm and Ph.D. from Andhra University.It is fortunate to have Post-Doctoral Research Fellow worked on Design and Evaluation of Micro-needle drug delivery systems for Controlled Release in Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Japan. He has profound erience in Teaching, Industrial and Research Laboratories in home and abroad. His write-ups near about 150 Research Paper Publications in National and International Journals repeat. He received the Best Research Paper Award in International Congress of Indian Pharmacy Graduates in the Year 2003. He received the Best Research Paper Award 4 times by Andhra University.Recently he received the "YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD-2016" by CEGR,New Delhi.
